Born in Soviet Siberia under the communist regime, I learned early how power shapes destinies and voices get silenced. When war erupted in Abkhazia, I fled with my young son an experience that taught me about displacement and resilience. After resettling in Ukraine and recognizing familiar patterns of instability, I chose Canada as a place where my son could grow free from cycles of war and corruption.

In Canada, I rebuilt my identity through literature. Over thirty novels and publications in journals like New World and East-West, along with recognition such as the Ernest Hemingway Literary Prize, have given me both platform and responsibility. For more than a decade, I've been active in Toronto's literary community, transforming lived trauma into shared meaning and connecting readers across cultures through stories of survival, love, and the search for destiny.

My 5 part series, WIND, encompasses twenty years of pain, love, and dangerous secrets woven into one unforgettable story.

This multi-layered work combines spy thriller, drama, and detective fiction, with authentic emotion pulsing through every page.

The series presents a kaleidoscope of intertwined destinies filled with mystery and adventure.

Published by Canadian publisher Litsvet, Wind has been selected for the electronic collection of Boris Akunin's library, placing it alongside works by one of contemporary literature's most influential voices.
